Mithril fiddler Tom Morley has released 'The Raven's Wing (a curious collection of fiddle tunes)' his very first solo CD. Tom explains, "I call this a 'curious collection' because it touches on a number of genres that I've enjoyed playing with many outstanding musicians throughout my career. It's a mix of original and traditional tunes some well-known and some obscure with Celtic, Old-time, Bluegrass/Americana, New Acoustic, World, Jazz, and Western Swing all represented." The new tune by David that we recently recorded is now available online for free! We hit the studio this week so we could get this "child's response" to the oil spill online as soon as possible. We hope the tune can provide a bit of comfort during these difficult times here on the Gulf Coast. Our thoughts and prayers are going out daily for all of the people and places affected by this situation.
